Girls Night

Friday night turned into a girls night since Dom was glued to his new video game.  Maia asked me to do her make-up and absolutely insisted I give her a mole.

Giving back...

As your parents Maia, it's really important that we teach you to be grateful for what our family has.  Last night we took you to feed dinner to those in need at the Rescue Mission.  You were so excited and took your job as yogurt-passer-outer very serious.

 There's no hiding this kind of excitement! 
We're definitely considering making this a monthly event for our family.



Funday Sunday

Since it snowed so much this weekend we decided to go sledding at Sugarhouse Park...here we are bundled and ready to go!

First Day of SNOW!

Today we had our first snowfall and as soon as Maia woke up she said "Let's go sledding!"  There's not enough to sled quite yet but there was enough for you to  play in the backyard with!

She even bundled herself up on her own:

It's been a hectic week for me and I haven't been home much in the evenings so I've really missed you guys...looking forward to the weekend! 

When I got home last night Maia surprised us with a very sweet note.

Maia, you are so thoughtful, sweet and creative. We love you always!

Cirque du Soleil: Quidam

Sunday we went to see Quidam by Cirque du Soleil...It was a surprise for everone except Dom and I.  Unfortunately we were'nt allowed to take pics but I was able to sneak a few in towards the end.

Immigration Canyon Ride

Dom and I had our last canyon ride of the season yesterday...It was beautiful and peaceful going up but coming down was FREEZING! That part wasn't fun.
