Father's Day 2013

We celebrated Father's Day today with the best dude we know!  Can you tell we surprised him good with his presents??

He wanted a "man dinner" so he chose Texas Roadhouse for lunch:

The Dirty Dash '13

We had our first go at The Dirty Dash this year! We decided to go ahead and do the 10K since we're all pretty much bad asses. Maia, you were SO excited you were squealing from the moment you woke up.

Here we are once we were back at our car. We were WAY dirtier than this but there was no way I could pull out the camera while we were in the mud pits :)

At the end of the day it was fun, exhausting and MESSY.  We'll definitely be going again next year but this time that little mousey girl is staying home :)

Oh and BTW have you ever seen mom's nails look better than this? ;)

Afternoon @ Liberty Park

We have finally finished up most of our house upgrades and can have our weekends back!  Yesterday afternoon we went to Liberty Park, fed the ducks and then walked over to have some fun in the water...

Nothing entertains kids more than WATER

It was National Donut Day too and I didn't even get a shot of our yummy donuts...we gobbled them up too fast!
